About
I am a sworn translator and interpreter for the Lyon Court of Appeal, specialising in French/English translations.I have a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge, and a Master’s in Sociology from the University of North Carolina (UNC), Chapel Hill. I have worked in strategic management consulting firms in London and Paris. Living in France since 1992, I have been working as a professional translator for over twenty years, and obtained a Master 2 degree in Applied Linguistics and Translation from Université Lumière Lyon 2 in 2019.My triple nationality (British, Irish, and French) and international background allow me to capture the cultural and linguistic nuances of both English- and French-speaking audiences. My professional experience and bicultural life enrich each translation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and fluency.
